Screw pumps PSRP - Industry-wide
PSRP screw pumps, also known as anti-rotation screw pumps, are a special design of screw pumps that allows for pumping liquids at low flows and high pressures. They are often used in the chemical, petrochemical, refining and pharmaceutical industries.
Unlike standard screw pumps, PSRP pumps they have specially designed screws that work in opposite directions, which allows the pressure to be maintained at a constant level even with changing liquid flow.
In addition, these types of pumps are more resistant to contamination and viscosity than standard screw pumps, making them ideal for working with difficult liquids such as thick adhesives, pastes, masses, etc.
PSRP pumps they are also more flexible than other types of pumps because they can be adjusted to different pressure and flow levels, allowing them to fit a variety of applications.
Like other types of pumps, PSRP pumps they have different types of drives, such as electric, combustion and float, which are adapted to the needs of a specific application.
It is worth remembering that in order to ensure reliability and safety, it is important to properly adapt the PSRP pump to a given application and to perform regular maintenance and servicing. Therefore, it is important to purchase pumps from reputable manufacturers and use the services of qualified specialists when installing, maintaining and servicing pumps.
Another important aspect that should be taken into account when choosing a PSRP pump is its efficiency. PSRP pumps may be more or less efficient depending on their design and operation. To increase efficiency, some PSRP pumps use variable geometry flow systems that allow the screw shape to be changed to increase efficiency.
Analogicalunlike other types of pumps, PSRP pumps are important for safety and environmental protection. PSRP pumps, especially those used in the chemical and petrochemical industries, can move liquids that are potentially harmful to people and the environment. It is therefore important to use appropriate safety measures, such as leakage protection and pressure monitoring systems, and to adapt pumps to environmental protection requirements.
Operating cost is also an important aspect to consider when selecting a PSRP pump. Although investing in such a pump may be expensive, long-term operation can be profitable thanks to its high efficiency and reliability.

Technical description
The single-screw pump belongs to the group of rotary displacement pumps with the ability to self-suction the pumped liquid. The main working elements are:
- steel rotor /A/ made in the shape of a single-thread screw with a circular cross-section and a large pitch,
- stator /B/ made of elastomer /rubber/ with a double-thread with a cross-section of an elongated hole and a double pitch of the rotor.
During pump operation, the rotor performs a rotational and circulating movement in the stator, causing the liquid to be pumped, possible because in each phase of the rotational movement the suction area is separated from the discharge area, the so-called sealing line. The pump can also reliably suck in highly viscous liquids, even those containing rounded solids / max. dimensions depending on the pump size/without auxiliary devices.
Pumps transport liquid continuously. Pumped liquids are not subject to pulsation and centrifugal forces. Even the most sensitive products are pumped gently.
