Horizontal centrifugal pumps KAN
Available in Ex version
Application
Single-stage KAN centrifugal pumps are designed for pumping clean and slightly contaminated chemical liquids.
Technical description
KAN pumps are single-stage, horizontal centrifugal pumps with a closed impeller and relief vanes that reduce longitudinal forces and pressure in front of the stuffing box. On the drive side, the pump body is closed with a stuffing box which, together with the connector, forms a chamber into which a cooling agent can be introduced into the seal operating area, which is advisable when pumping liquids with temperatures above 373K. The shaft is mounted in two roller bearings lubricated with oil, the level of which is maintained by the regulator.
Pumps are manufactured with string seals and with various types of mechanical seals.
We use mechanical seals manufactured by renowned companies.
The pump and the engine mounted on the foundation plate constitute the pump unit. The foundation slabs have a hole for pouring cement mortar into the foundation and threaded holes for leveling the unit. The design of the unit enables the pump to be overhauled without the need to dismantle the pump body, pipelines and engine, which eliminates the need for time-consuming setup of the unit units. /when using a coupling with a spacer sleeve/.
Operating parameters comply with the EN |22858| standard
